Bedonna Moore
Bea was born in Ottumwa, Iowa to Michael and Bedonna Whelan. She passed away with her husband, Robert, in Beaver, Utah.
Bea graduated from Fullerton High School in 1947. She worked at Continental Oil and Gas in Denver. She was married to Robert on April 6, 1974.
Bea enjoyed playing bridge, bowling, needlework, handcrafts, cooking, traveling, playing with her dogs and catching up with friends and relatives.
She is survived by her daughter, Melanie Shileikis and husband Mike of Saugus, Cali.; step-son, Dave Moore and wife Susan of Littleton; step-son, Robert Moore and wife Nancy of Loveland; step-daughter, Chris Moore of Lakewood; sister, Joyce Hayes of Temecula, Cali.; sister, Margaret Pitt and husband Walter of Branson, MO; sister, Bette Warn and husband John of Morrison; brother, Don Whelan and wife Diane of Grand Island, Neb.; brother, Francis (Butch) Whelan and wife Joyce of Grand Island, Neb.; six grandchildren, Amanda, Jenn, Dave, Charlie, Hannah and Alicia; and a host of great friends.
A joint ceremony will be held 12:15 p.m. Jan. 15 at Ft. Logan Cemetery, 4400 W Kenyon Ave. in Denver. A Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Jan. 16 at Riverwalk Clubhouse, 2751 W. Riverwalk Cr. in Littleton.
The family is asking in lieu of flowers, making a donation to a charitable organization, such as the Wounded Warrior Project, any dog shelter or animal rescue organization or the Rocky Mountain Flight for Veterans.
